| I hate `NET SEND` spam too, yet it never bothers me because between my computers and the cable modem there is a router. Rule of thumb: Never directly connect a home owned Windoze driven computer to the Internet. Even if you have one computer, put a router between the cable modem and the computer(s). Mind you, if you're on a dial-up, use a decent firewall. |
