| Macroeconomic trends are hard to forecast. Investing based on trying to forecast macro trends is a difficult game. Warren Buffett invests based on the business itself and ignores macro trends. Japan is a rapidly aging society with very poor demographics. Yet there are still opportunities to make money in business there. In my humble opinion, it's better to focus on the potential of the business itself rather than worry about macro trends. |
