| For those of you who say that stopping & disabling the messenger service isn't doing the job, have you checked that the messenger service is still stopped and disabled? I don't want to sound patronising but maybe you stopped the service but didn't disable it, meaning it will start again when you next log in. Just a thought cos I can't see how you can recieve 'net send' messages if there is no software running to receive and process them.
