Life is too short to be wasted by DWELLING on the past. You got to focus on the future. Ask around those married couples. Chances are, before one successful relationship can be reached, there were many failed ones. On the other hand, do not to be so critical on those Shanghainese girls. The fact is most shanghainese were not born there. They are migrants. They came from all over the place. It is the environment (or you can call it culture) nurtured them to have those distinctive characteristics that are unique to Shanghainese. However, that uniqueness is not limited to Shanghainese girls if we put aside the physiological difference between men and women. Shanghainese Men are exactly the same! Stop hoping that you will get a response from certain individuals about their views on your question(s). Chances are that he is not able to offer anything more then others have already said.
