| Of course I agree with your statements, "We have to agree that not every tool is right for every person, right? We have to agree that if I don't use some service, it does not mean that this service is not useful, right?" Each person has to decide what level of interaction they want with their community and what tools are best suited for this. Right now tools like Twitter are in and of themselves only a "small" step. But I wonder if the increasing popularity of such tools represents a longer term trend towards a more interactive or social experience that might come to represent a "big" trend - given the ability to be increasingly social with a community not just physcially close to you but also one that might be spread around the globe. |
