| Well, mine are pretty much the same in fact. I find the 'lack of foreign bookstore' quote a bit strange though - I think the one on Fuzhou road is OK. I'll explain one of the others to you. If you've ever lived in London, as I did for 28 years, public transport here is a dream. Believe it or not, the London Underground is slower, dirtier, more crowded, more dangerous, has no air conditioning and costs about 60 kwai FOR ONE DAY. It's a bit sad too that expats moan about not being able to communicate - yes, it would be nice if more people spoke English but at the end of the day if you want people to speak English, stay in the US or Europe! |
