Greetings,

Greetings,

I am from North America. I've been working in Seoul and Tokyo for many years. Hence, I am generally knowledgeble about Asian customs. Furthermore, I have recently traveled to China a couple times for 10 to 14 day vacations in Beijing and Shanghai. This has added somewhat to a still-growing grasp of Chinese culture.

At this time, it is my good fortune to be the recipient of a job offer in Shanghai. The work begins in mid-September and lasts at least a few months thereafter. Hence, I am currently seeking housing commensurate to this time frame. I can offer 1000 to 2000 Chinese Yuan per month for rent and utilities. I am not really interested in any secondary add-ons or additions to my living quarters as I will rarely be at home. The reason is I must work at least six days a week and will commute to distant locations in and around Shanghai on a daily basis (so -- I want to try to limit the focus to just rent & utlities costs!).

I don't really need internet access, cable TV, ect. I have lived in Asia such a long time and I really find such types of entertainment mediums to be troublesome, unreliable, and just a plain repetative bore for the most part (I guess I'll just have to settle for having my own life). Furthermore, I don't necessarily require a fully furnished apartment. I can ship some items to Shanghai, if necessary.

Thanks for your time.
