| Went to HuaiHai Lu yesterday 28 Jul 07 to buy a Toshiba A200 laptop with 2Gb memory upgrade, genuine Windows Vista English version, and pay by AMEX. Paid, and they installed OEM Chinese version Vista, then wanted to installed pirated English version. I refused, and got the card refunded. This was the Toshiba shop appearing to be the manufacturer's outlet. The other Toshiba supplier openly said they would use a pirated version. Went to the big computer centre in Pudong, not far from DongChang Lu - the story was the same. |
