| @wonton, I totally agree with you that the Bird's Nest is crap in terms of architecture, a total travesty, like a burlesque dance in a teahouse. The spirit of the place (genus loci) is destroyed with that monstrosity. Indeed what is beautiful now in China is vulgar and outrageous. Sad and painful. |
