| So, George, by your assessment, or at least by the author's assessment that you used in your post, there is little hope that this crisis can be resolved because of the way that the Chinese people view the Dalai Lama and Tibetans. That to me is very sad, very sad indeed. But, I myself will continue to hope to see that one day the Chinese people and the Tibetan people will come together. The Dalai Lama is a human being, just like President Hu Jintao. And they both want happiness, not for themselves but for their people; that is you and me. And I would never stop you from attaining happiness. Why would you and your government want to stop the Tibetan people from attaining happiness in their own way? This to me is madness.
