| Also don't forget to get a Japan Railway Pass if you plan to go anywhere further than Tokyo, it allows you to travel on all sorts of expressed trains(including Shinkansen) for unlimited times in a certain period of time, such as a week or two. It is a real bargain considering how expensive the railway fair is.
