Actually, Beijing did respond to the US's expensive phone number and finger printing. US Citizens who want to go to China are now not allowed to mail in their applications for Visas, they must either go to the consulate in person, or pay someone else to do it for them. Not a very large response, but a response nontheless. Joel |
