5 Best Shanghai Eatery Streets?

Wu Jiang Lu is going to be destroyed... (after 6 months or so)
You can go talk with the people of the block... they will confirm you.

It will become a boring fashion street like everywhere in shanghai.
People love WuJiang Lu, it is always crowded, but the powerful do not care of the people they just want to make money.

I am quite sade
Shanghai is losing slowly is interest, and become more and more boring.

4 A Stolen Bicycle

DC you are totally right!!!
It has happen to one of my friend!
They stole in front of everybody and nobody do something.... Most of Chinese do not care as long as it is not related to them, and they want to avoid conflict.
By the way most of them do not care to let way to ambulance... whatever some may die because the ambulance is slow down by bicycle and cars.
At least in Shanghai...

3 A Stolen Bicycle

Chinese use to say "I have loose a bicycle" instead of "someone has stolen my bicycle". Why?

When I arrived in China with a few other foreigners, we all bough new bicycles... mine (stolen inside my building, the guard who knew very well my bicycle did nothing to stop the robber), my flatmate one, two of my second flatmate, one of my friend, his girls friends friend, etc... all have been stolen within 3 months.
So, I bought a old crappy one, one year later someone STOLE it.

PS: I do not find funny to see someone who has been STOLEN.

2 Living Cost in Shanghai - Medicine

I saw 5 times a Chinese doctors (twice for me, 3 time for my ex) in the 5 times, 3 times the Chinese doctor did a mistake, once a very big...
So... Now I do not trust anymore Chinese doctors who care more about sending you away as quick as possible than really look at you and try to find what you really have.

So, if you have money better avoid them.

1 The Scar in People's Heart

Interesting, more and more "political" article on your blog, so you may soon get unplugged.

By the way according to many, never any time in human history more people have starve to death than during the great leap forward.
And that to produce crappy useless steel, which was a way to fulfill the megalomania of a Chairman Mao.

I always wander how Chinese have been able to do such things... such as destroy your iron kitchen tools to do iron...
the goal of producing iron is to produce goods, not destroy goods to produce tools... how can you arrive in a state where everybody lack of basic common sense??
I am sure that these kind of stupid policies will have been impossible to implement in many countries, because the population will just have said: "fcuk off". Same story for culturral revolution.

Maybe 5000 years in wich you have been taught not to think but obey enable to obey even to the most stupid orders.

See you!
