Living Cost in Shanghai (2007 Edition) Hello. I am planning to move from Mumbai (India) to Shanghai and was wondering whether a 11000 RMB, post-tax package will be sufficient for a decent living. I intend to rent a small apartment in the main areas of the city. I will be staying alone and while I do not plan to live a luxurious expatriate life, I will require the basic comforts of city life. Will really appreciate if any one can give a break-up estimate for rent and basic utilities (energy, water, city transportation, phone and internet). |
