Shanghai Buses

Tongli is in JiangSu province,the north of Shanghai and Nanxun is in Zhejiang province,the south of Shanghai.
Go to Suzhou(苏州) by train in Shanghai railway station.There are a lot of trains going there.You can buy tickets from Shanghai to Suzhou very easily.About 15 RMB is enough. It takes about 40 minutes.
Then in Suzhou railway station,you can take a kind of white microbus with "Suzhou transportation tour" （苏州交通旅游）written on it from Suzhou to Tongli. 6 RMB.It takes about 1 hour.But you can only take the bus before 6 pm.
The ticket of Tongli costs 50 RMB.

Using Contact Lenses

im 14 and i really want contacts, not jus for apperence, but more for sports. c i got a new pair of glasses like 2 months ago and i went to 1 month of summer school gym class and now my classes are all screwd up from people like running in to me and gettin hit in the face. so i went to the doctor to get contacts, i have an astigmatism in my rite eye so i have to wait to get my trial pair. my mom had contacts (and wat a coincedence she had an astigmatism in her rite eye too) and she said it jus didnt feel rite wit the rite contact, she sed it never felt in place. im goin in this week to get them. so jus wish me good luck and all

Last Day of Feb

Hi, I'm new here.
I'm very interested in your blog, and i know you from the magazine of "lifeweek",which is also one of my favorite magazine. I admire greatly about your persverance of writing english blog everyday,which really makes me very guilty because i 'm an english major but i have no will to stick to do it like you. Sometime I just wonder why almost every Chinnse University set up english department. I know society now needs english talents, but i don,t know whether you know, the education system is really bad, which is not my opinion but every college students'. For example, i studied four years english and now i gonna to find a job,what qulifacation i have?? Just english?? Although i have passed TEM-8( which means high level for english-learner) , it is just a communication tool,i think, should i take it as my qualification to find a job?? I think is ridiculous!! I think you are not an english major but your english is better than me. What we learned from school is all dumb english,we have no chance to speaking what we learned, which is really the wrost fault for a language-learner!

Fudan, Tongji and SJTU

I come from ECNU,I'm very angry to read this.Why didn't you come to our school? Are we different from that three uni? Or you have other reasons? Oh,I see,they must have invited you,but we didn't. What a miserable life to study here. I'm major in Imformation Manegement and Information systerm of business school, but it is almost art but not science here.Hope you to come next time if possible.

I Didn't Escape from Puxi

"Seems like only non-Shanghai people commit crimes. Shanghai people are above doing such things." Not all the bad guys are non-Shanghai people. But actually, many theives are from some remote and poor cities of China. In recent years, even their children are tought to thieve. I had experienced too much. And the police cannot do anything with these children because they are under age.

Watch Out Bad Shanghai Taxi Drivers

You made an excellent job! I am a Shanghainese and living in Shanghai from I was born. Yes, some Shanghai taxi driver is bad( I also had the experience for their reasonless charge). So, do not trust them if they suddenley said the metter was broken out! If they did so, you can call their operation center ( But actually not all of them can provide English language service) You'd better call your friends(if you have) and make sure how much it should cost. Additonal point want to remind you, bad taxi drivers will intended to chose the incorrect way to charge you more! Sometimes your destination is not far away but they will keep you going around of Shanghai! So I agree with Jian Shuo, you'd better choose the good taxi company, such as Dazhong(大众)-in subgreen,Jonsen(强生)-in orenge,NGS(农工商)-in darkblue.
