Does Hotmail Work in China? Mike's login link worked for me in Shanghai, too. Thanks! (Wow, 5 rmb for a copy of Windows? I think I'm getting ripped off. My software source has the guts to charge me almost 20 yuan per CD!) |

Does Hotmail Work in China? I'm in Shanghai - day 3 without access to hotmail - can't get to the sign-in screen. My friends who have subscriptions with MSN can sign on from their home computers, but not through the web interface. I can access my hotmail account at a wifi hotspot with my PDA with whatever software my Dell Axim uses. Got a generic response from hotmail support today saying that my PC's browser is probably corrupted. They sent me a list of 10 things I already tried which didn't work. So, yes, probably it's Baidu or some pranksters, and I think the women of the world should hurry up and fix it. |

Shanghai Hand-Made Map Dear Wang Thank you for a very useful and informative site - it covers some things that you can'yt find elsewhere. I will be in Shanghai for a very short visit (1 1/2 days) on my way to Beijing next week. What do you think are the most imporant things to see in Shanghai? |

Stop NET SEND spam Here's one for you - I've just received over 4000 net send messages, easy batch routine I would guess. The problem - how can I close all of them at once? So far the only answer is to disable the service and then resart the machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

BlogBus.com Blocked Jian Shuo, how long will the two providers (blogbus and blogcn) be shut down? What do you think? Will they go live ever? Or is this temporary? What's happening there? |

My Experience of TOEIC Exam >>I was told to bring a 2B pencil and rubber. Since your article is about an English test, I hope you don't mind if I mention common (American) usage: rubber ====== we say a "rubber" to refer to a condom and eraser ====== a tool (made from ?) to remove pencil marks Anyway, congratuations! |

Difference Between Quanqiutong and Shenzhouxing I bought it in a small street shop. The envelope that the SIM card came on says "E-Tong Card" on it, and the the card itself says "quanqiutong". And they say I can re-charge it. All this is so confusing! |

Difference Between Quanqiutong and Shenzhouxing Also, does "quanqiutong" mean that it has global roaming to Hong Kong, Europe, etc? |

Difference Between Quanqiutong and Shenzhouxing I bought a quanqiutong card from a street vendor--he says that all I need to do is to re-charge with a recharge card. Does this mean there's no need to bring an ID and make an application?? |

DB_File Error When Installing MovableType I followed the directions and had the same error ("...not intended for this build..."). I am running ActiveState 5.6 and PPM 2.1.6. Any other ideas? Thanks, Jim |
