Pudong Airport Maglev in Depth I went to Shanghai on 19th January and was anticipating to try out the Maglev. But to my dissapointment, the Maglev only travelled at a maximum speed of 300 km/h. I felt like been cheated. I wonder why they reduce the speed. Is that due to operation fee? However, I did enjoy the time spent on the Maglev. It was so smooth and quiet. And just for your information, the management has actually extended the operation time of the Maglev. The last train is at 9 pm if I'm not mistaken. Definitely not 5.30 pm. Good news huh? |
