My Wireless Dream On my first search with Google, I found a pile of Walkie Talkies. Don't understand some problems. For those who prefer not to waste time, hack up a couple of analog cordless phones, you have cheap working walkie talkies. Tap the local oscill in 2 portable fm radio's ( cheap ones ), and again you have walkie talkies, just add an electret preamp. Any reciever is already a mini transmitter. Hell, modulate a flash light with an audio amp. Modulate your tv's vertical. Did you know your worthless old AM CB is a good video transmitter with 4watts out ?. I did those things as a child, with no university help, just a lot of reading. THINK !. |
