6 Fight Between Foreigners and Local

As a Chinese citizen I'm feeling that a lot things in China are broken.

People don't have trust on others, people always keep opposite minds and keep making it left-winged in real life, young hate decisions made by elder.

A lot things are broken.

Some people trying to fix what is becoming broken, and many of them found such efforts are simply rushed away by time.

So I have a question, if we don't try to fix what is becoming broken but we turn to fix education, free the poison from ourselves, and teach our next generation that there are possibilities in this world, to choose means freedom and think before go.

Will it be different then?

5 V2EX's Network Cable was Unplugged

Hi, Carsten,

Lemme explain it to you.

My name is Livid, I'm the creator of V2EX, V2EX is short for "way too extreme" and/or "way to explore", it's powered by a program codenamed "Project Babel" written by me, and I released this program under GPL in Apr, 2006. So basically I'm a nerd, busy working for a creative web product, and the website running on my code attracted 3000+ creative people, we talked about all kinds of creative technical stuff there.

And suddenly, regulators took it down without bothering tell me the reason.

However, they used to take freedom of speech from normal people like me, I think what they're doing is to make fear, it's impossible for them to invent anything creative or productive like Internet, but they're busying making this and that so-called "license" to limit our innovations. I won't obey, and I'll always make hope.

Regards,
Livid
