Yifan is Growing Up There is a lovely dimple on Yifan's cheek, and he looks like you, also like Wendy. Wendy seems to have a naturally sweet temper. Yifan is such a adorable angel, and you've got such a sweet family, which I really appreciate. ^_^ +U |

Summary of First Half of November Congratulations on your important milestone! Maybe you could tell something about your business trip here, and I'm really interested. Haha. It's really chilly today, and I feel cold even in my office. Fortunately I've got a cup of hot tea to warm my hands, which makes me feel some warmth. The best is yet to come... |

Shanghai Pudong Airport Terminal 2 to Open @chin You can visit http://shanghai.motel168.com/en/index.aspx to make the reservation online. The price of a double occupancy differs depending on the location of the motel in Shanghai. |
| 70 |
Future Shanghai Metro and Maglev Map @asif Actually you're fortunate enough to catch your train. You can take the Maglev from Pudong Airport to Longyang Station, which only takes about eight minutes. At this station you can change to take metro to go to the shanghai raily way station. You need to take Metro Line 2 line first, and change to Metro Line 1 at the People's Sqare Station.the whole Metro trip will take about half an hour. Haha, just take it easy. |

Paris Spring is on Sale Wow! So many rich people! You' re such a poor guy, having no bread to buy. |
| 68 |
Thanks Matt Isler! Haha, it's creative that u sent your thanks in the way of a combination, a electronic version of hand painted paper, which seems so interesting. |
| 66 |
Indian English Haha, funny. Wendy is really hard working and responsible. |
| 65 |
Shanghai Population Haha, it does not matter, Jianshuo. I left the comment just to make the verification, and I've got the result it's the exact Beijing time now. ^-^ |
| 63 |
Shanghai Population I've just noticed that the time on this site is the same as Beijing time, so it's winter now? ... what a mystery! |
| 61 |
In Beijing, In Meeting Sorry for the misunderstanding, Jianshuo. Maybe next time you can well pre-arrange the lunch and enjoy it with someone. I've been learning to enjoy the loneliness for a long time, and I think I've been used to it. I always cook a few delicious dishes for myself even I have my dinner alone. Sometimes the situation is not that bad you feel. Haha, I'm always trying to enjoy the life no matter I'm alone or not, have lunch or dinner with someone or not. |
| 60 |
In Beijing, In Meeting Haha, it seems that you've pre-arranged everything, not only the meeting, but also the lunch and dinner. Hava a good time in Beijing. Me, I really miss Beijing, my bunches of dear friends in Beijing. |

Shanghai to Beijing? Train is Better than Air I find you are packing activity into every minute of your day, just take it easy sometimes, though this way makes work and life more efficient. |

User Feedback are the Key This new feature of YouTube will definitely bring users much convenience. YouTube commentors are now presented with a button asking if they’d like to hear their comments read aloud before they are posted, haha, which is really funny. Thanks for this informatiaon, Jianshuo. |

Power Plugs on Train? @Johnny, you can take the train D685, D665, D93 or D109 to Yiwu, and they are all the fastest trains from Shanghai to Yiwu, taking around two hours. All of these trains leave at Shanghai South Railway Station, and you can buy the train ticket in Shanghai Railway Station, Shanghai South Railway Station or any railway ticket agency in Shanghai. And read this article also on this website, http://home.wangjianshuo.com/archives/20071216_train_ticket_office_at_maglev_station.htm , hope it will help you |

Eatery is Really Small Business Yeah, small busineses are different from big ones. Small ones always offer low price and get srazor-thin profits to survive at first, and I think only in this way they are likely to make the successful transformation to big businesses in the following step. The increased sales volume caused by the low price just counterbalances their loss in low price. So they just want to be well spoken by every one of their customers and make all of them the long-term or permanent customers. haha ,just my two cents. |

Pollution in Taihu (Lake Tai) I took my mom to visit Taihu in Septemer 2006, and it's really as beautiful and clean as that in the pictures you took in 2006. I think next weekend I'll go to Suzhou to visit a baby girl to whom a couple of my old college classmates have just gave birth, haha, she must be very cute. If I have time, and I'll visit some places, maybe Xishan is a good choice. BTW, Jianshuo, do you like the ecard I sent to you for your birthday, actually those cute penguins busy preparing to celebrate your birthday? |
| 52 |
Happy Birthday to Me Hi! Jianshuo, happy birthay to you! ^-^ No wonder it's full of sunshine today, and it's supposed to be rainy by the weather forecast last night. I've sent some cute bee-pop penguins by email for your birthday, and hope you enjoy them. May you have a wonderful and warm birthday with your family. |

My Favorite Food in the World Haha, we have this Mipi (米皮) in my hometown too. Mipi is different from Liang(凉皮). So for as the appearance is conerned,Mipi is more white in color than Liangpi. And Mipi feels more soft than Liangpi when you chew it. In fact, they are made of different material. Mipi is made of rice, while Liangpi is of wheat. In my hometown there is also anther food similar to Mipi and Liangpi named Wantuo(碗托), and it's made of buckwheat. haha, I love all of the three kinds of food. Wantuo the best, then Mipi, then Liangpi. Unfortunately I can't enjoy any of them in Shanghai. I only see Liangpi in Shanghai, and it dropped far behind that of my hometown in taste. |

SVB Bank is like a Family Wow! Now it's perfect. You are really quick, efficient and helpful, Jianshuo. Thanks! ^-^ Please accecpt this sincere commendation from a Virgo. |
| 49 |
SVB Bank is like a Family Hi! Jianshuo, I've found that three of my recent comments are signed in the color of darker green, different from the ones I always leave. I think the reason is that I just made some mistakes when typing my email. It is a matter of big concern whether I could get the sepecially designed golden medal in the far future, so could you do me a favor to make some correction in the database when you have time? I think you can just select the top 6 comments by Michelle in the comment talbe, and update the email in the records by the one I left before. I really appreciate it if you could make any correction. And I think I will tick the checkbox 'remember my information' and not clear the cookies when shutting down the browser to aviod the same mistake in the future. Haha, sorry for that. I'm that kind of person always in pursuit of perfection, because my horoscope is Virgo. |
| 48 |
SVB Bank is like a Family Wow! You're enjoying a fulfilling life. BTW, I'm drinking a litte bit red wine before sleep at night these days, haha, expecting to make my eyes brighter. ^-^ +U |

Visited Two Companies Oh, I see. Thanks, Jianshuo. I think I've known this great group you mentioned since there were the advertisements of Wangwang Xianbei on TV long long ago when I was a little kid. A beautiful girl of middle school age being dressed like a princess just scampered out on the screen, then I could hear the words "香米里的好风味,旺旺鲜贝!". Haha, that's just what the ad like in my memory. |
| 46 |
Visited Two Companies Wang Wang Tower? Does it spell '旺旺' in Chinese? Really a cute and Chinese-characterized name if it is, huh? |
| 45 |
Last Day of National Holiday Yifan is such a cute angel that I wanna to hold him in my arms one day. And I will give birth to a baby only if I'm convinced that I've found someone who can be a good father of my baby. |
| 44 |
I Use Public Transportation Now So far as I am concerned, an alarm clock really works in waking me up one hour ealier, while it's so not easy for me to go to bed one hour earlier. I tried to get rid of the habit of going to bed too late, and I failed. Maybe I need a much stronger determination. Haha, that's the reason why find that U just express your idea by "try to go to bed one hour earlier than before. " |
| 42 |
Rob's Skateboard Journey Wow! Really amazing dance! Does this guy tavel to every corner of the world to show his unique dance? It seems that most of the time there were no audience at all, maybe he just doesn't need any audience. Anyway my horizons are broadened again, and I love the stone where he danced at Norway, it's just challenging. |

Prepaid Gas and Electricity in Beijing I'm not good at planning, hence, I will feel severe unconvenience if I'm in Beijing. Whereas, I'm fortunately in Shanghai, and I just encountered the big problem of finding someone to fix or change my light or just trying to do it myself instread of having no electricity to use. |

Resume from Long Pause of Blogging HOHO! So glad that you are back. |
| 39 |
Why I Keep Losing Stuff Aha, it's surprising. I 've never ever thought that you're careless. Me, I'm a expert in losing umbrellas. I always leave my umbrella on the bus when I get off the bus, which happens mostly on the occasion when I'm thinking something in my mind. Because of this ,I always get the bus or tube late at the next stop or get on the one of wrong direction, too. |
| 38 |
MSN Messenger Virus BR2002 @skye, next time those requests apprear, you just need to tick the 'block' checkbox and click the 'ok' button, by which those requests will never ever appear again. LOL! I've ever done that, and it really works, so just have a try. |
| 37 |
Back from 22 Hours Trip I've never had such a long trip by air, hence, I hope to enjoy one in the future.Though boring and tiring it might be, I would love to have this experience which will be really exciting for the first time. |

Dinner with Mayors in US Again You'd better pack your things now, and have a nice sleep this night. May you have a nice trip tomorrow. |

Yogurt in a Bottle Such a cute Yogurt bottle even makes me homesick. I miss the sky of Beijing, because it's similar with that of my hometown. I miss the roads in Beijing, because they are as broad as those in Shaanxi. I miss the smell in the air of Beijing, because it's the same with that in my hometown. All of those in Shanghai are totally different, which shows the difference between the south and the north in China. I miss the tasty dishes in the eatery of Beijing Normal University at which I stayed last time, because they are almost of the hometown flavor. I miss all my good friends in Beijing, because they are all my old friends since senior school, even so many happy moments we enjoyed together and unforgettable memories came into my mind. |

Nanluoguxiang Is Special Thanks for your answer, Jianshuo. It seems that I cannot be with what all you said, hence, I'll keep your short answer 'the time will be correct in winter' in my mind. I wish winter would come soon. |
| 29 |
Nanluoguxiang Is Special By the way, Jianshuo, I've got a question. Why is the time on this site is one hour earlier than Beijing time? |
| 28 |
Nanluoguxiang Is Special I found this place on google map by the hyperlink you offered, and I think I've ever been there. The last time I visited Beijing was two years ago. When I visited Houhai, I took a Hutong travelling by a three-wheel bike there. The rider took me to a lot of Hutongs which are very old Beijing-characterized. There are some specially decorated stores and bars on some of the Hutongs, and some Hutongs are very narrow. The rider also tell me some interesting stories of these Hutongs. I think this Nanluoguxiang is one of them to which I travelled. It's a pity that I've never been to Lijiang and cannot have your feeling. Anyway this is a place worth travelling to. |

Shanghai Dazhong Taxi @Karim If you speak English to the operator of Dazhong Taxis for a reservation, they'll speak English. And you can call +86-21-96822 for reservation. By the way, I think Jinjiang Taxi is also good. |

Problem of Having a Good Email Address Haha, so funny. |

Google AdSense for Feed I can see the ad image at the top of each article(actually the articles since Aug 15th,2008 ) of your web page in my google reader, and I don't think it's annoying, it's okay at the top. Go head to keep it! Thanks for sharing this new thing about google reader. I read this webpage http://www.kenengba.com/post/502.html, which makes me know more about Adsense For Feed. |

Table Tennis is the National Sports of China Wow, you have the Ping Pong table in your lobby! What a wonderful lobby! Haha , you are increasingly productive. Two entries and articles today, give me a big surprise. May you succeed in the game tomorrow. ^_^ +U |
| 19 |
Photos of Wujiang Road Haha, thanks for sharing a new Wujiang Road and your idea with us. I went there two years ago, and the road was still the old version that time. There were indeed lots of cheap and nice eateries there, while the people are even more. I just remember we needed to queue up early at 1 PM for the 6 PM dinner in front of a eatery with good reputation. Sounds incredible? I haven't been to the renovated road, and I think I will visit it in the near future. |
| 18 |
The Wonderful 2008 Meetup Thanks for the meetup, and you are so efficient and productive. By the way, I think Kate is on the right, maybe the second row, the third one ,that Amerrican girl with glasses. |

Pudong Starbucks is Nice Hi Wang Jian Shuo, I NEVER drink coffee at Starbucks, they're expensive and I hate their business practices. I'm currently a British-American living in Bangkok, Thailand. We have Starbucks EVERYWHERE - there are FOUR of them within less than a mile of my house!! And they're packed with Thais (god knows, how they afford the coffee there as the average Thai salary is less than $150 a month!) I specifically won't purchase anything at Starbucks though because of their business practices. In the US (and here in Thailand) they deliberately target areas where there are independently-owned coffee shops and then do everything they can to try to close them down. In Santa Monica, CA, where I used to live - Starbucks has recently bought out two smaller coffee companies and then closed down all their stores, to stop the competition. I'll walk a mile in Bangkok heat before I'll buy a latte at Starbucks. They're a socially-irresponsible company as far as I'm concerned! They're also expensive nd they rip-off local coffee growers. Liars, cheats and thieves, IMO. |

How to Tell if Someone Block You on MSN Messenger The best and easiest way to check who's blocked you is to open your msn, click on your name at the top, go to personal settings, then privacy. Then right click the contact in the allow list, and if they've blocked you, the delete option will be available. If they didn't block you, the delete option won't be available for them. This is the best way of doing a check on all your contacts to see who's blocked you. |

Reading/Writing Chinese in Windows XP Hi JS Thanks for sharing the above details information. To be able to read chinese text, I normally go View bar --> pointed at encoding, select either Chinese simplified (if it is China URL or email sent by friends from China) or select Chinese traditional (if its Taiwan URL or email sent by friends from ROC). Cheers! |

Dong Fang Ji Bai from KFC The food looks good but the name sound a little funny? anyway, Chinese in China/HK who run the business always seem to be more creative than SG..(Singapore). Hope to see SG's KFC team will cater chinese dishes in western style....perhaps yes or perhaps it will never happened. Thanks for the info. |

MSN.COM Offers 2G Storage? I made a failed attempt to sign-up for the new "@msn.com" email/.NET passport account, only I got as far as Installing the MSN Explorer to being utterly stumped on the whole Dial-Up Connection Portion of the Installation Process; utterly confusing and rather annoying. Then again it's 4:25AM ET and I can't think straight. Perhaps I'll give it one more shot, perhaps I need to read the Options more thoroughly. (hahha). Thanks for the tips though, Dude! I was searching for how to and where to even begin for hours on end, but with this handy-dandy site of yours, I was able to get a quick jump start before my eyes went bloodshed. Thanks, again! Best Regards, Michelle W. |
