Rent an Apartment in Shanghai hello, i am doing some research and this is one of the better sites for info, i am going to be travelling thailand, and parts of china as of next feb ( exact : 19/02/08 ) for approx 9 months could be more depends on what happens while i am out there. i am from england and have sent various emails to hostels and apartment brokers, obviously i am looking to find cheap accomadation but can afford around £100.00 pm, no permit to work as i will be on a tourist visa but renewing as i go on, but can do small jobs etc if needed. anyone out there looking to do same or that give some advice please reply to kaos8866@hotmail.com thankyou |

Some Interesting Reading I too find that the Internet changes the way I read, often making it more beneficial to glance and scan, because of the large amount of available material, rather than to contemplate deeply, in most cases, although there can be excecptions. I find that the difference is made by whether the article is well written and on a subject I'm really interested in. If it's a subject I don't actually care about very much, I tend to skip it as soon as I lose interest, and if any article is not carefully written, then I'm also more likely not to take it seriously and go on to something else. But if the writer manages his subject well, and the topic is important to me, then I can get as deeply involved as in any other type of reading. To me, it seems to be more a matter of scanning and finding, rather than a matter of frantic reading. |

Personal Social Network Management Plaxo and Rollerdex are not going to solve this problem...they are simply online contact management sites. What we need is software which will: - keep a register of contacts (or utilize an existing register in Outlook etc). - record links between them or even discover/find links between them - record all interaction and contact information of contacts for sure - maintain "reference circles" or groups of contacts that know each other (and plan for introductions of contacts into a particular circle) - recognize commonality between contacts (eg. Fred and Sally both like basketball) Mind mapping software is a step in the right direction if it allowed easy linking between thoughts in different "streams" or automatically uncovered links between nodes. Anyone have any thoughts or luck finding software like this ? |

Mobiles in China - My Personal Perspective hi i bought an NEC c616 mobile and bought a momory stick duo so i could save music and images from my computer onto it. However, after a few days- the phone failed to recognise the mem stick. Why is this happening?
