Living Cost in Shanghai (2007 Edition) Hello, All My boyfriend and I are thinking about moving to Shanghai for 1-2 years. I have been working for a major electronic retail company for 7years, been a manager for 2 years. My boyfriend is a buyer for the same company. We do not have university degrees but we have a lot of work/management experience. What kind of jobs is there in Shanghai? Is teaching english an option? Beijing 2008 Olympic Mascots I agree with Zoey and J Melton and you shouldn't make fun of any countrys like China because it is a super cool place to live in and i use to live there and I think the mascots look cute and chinese but people have different things to say. It doesn't matter what they look like that much because they represent the Olympics and China.The shows are pretty good if you can understand them |

Where to Study Chinese, Beijing or Shanghai? hello people... i've been looking at this web site, and the information seems quite interesting.. i do have one question though.. i would like to move to shanghai next year(Sept 2008) in order to continue learning chinese. however,i'm having trouble choosing the university.. where could i find the best chinese language program for foreigners? which one offers according to you guys the best program- Jiaotong? fudan? Using Contact Lenses I'm so frustrated by my contacts, some days i can get them in straight away and then others it takes me 10 minutes to get the right one in and then i can't get the left one in because it just shuts and so i just take the right one out cause it just takes way to long. Also, my contacts have to correct 3 things so sometimes when i look a certain way they go really blurry. They were around 250 pounds so it would be a real waste of money not to wear them but they're just so annoying! |

Where are You? hi, iīm sarah. i live in berlin/germany. i just found your blog serving through the net trying to find out something about the way people construct their reality besides using "traditional" media like newspapers, television and so on. so i clicked that link to your page found on this german blog http://riesenmaschine.de/index.html?nr=20061016162418&kommentare=anzeigen#1 i find it very interesting that even if the internet is enabeling you to get diverse information about the world you asked people to tell you something about there countries.it seems that you like so many more prefere information in a more human voice rather than unpersonal offered information. so what can i tell you about berlin. I do love that place. I lived in different cities in almost every region of Germany which at least is not such a big country having more or less only 8o mio.inhabitants. people here donīt care too much about showing how much money they do have and besides that berlin is not a place where the majority of people is rich. berlin is a pretty multicultural place and especially many turkish people do live here. turkish fast food called doener is more popular than mcDonalds. i donīt know if these are important facts about berlin but itīs an information :) i travelled to almost every european country, to the states and to india. everytime and evrywhere things were absoultely different from what i expected them to be. finally i think we are (thatīs how the use to say in India) "same same but different. |

MSN Messenger Virus BR2002 ok i really dont know what to do, ive downloaded msn messenger 7.5 and it wont let me sign in. troubleshoot keeps comming up with the code 8004883. i havent got a clue what this means if anyone does know please help i feel like ive tried everything to fix it. |

MSN Messenger Spam hi there, ive download a picture that was sent via msn called bill gates and me at the beach or something i then developed a virus from this whihc everytime, i turn on my pc, i get a rather explicit message appearing and i cant open any anti virus software...do u have any ideas as to what this virus is and how i can prevent it?
