22 Big Drop in Price of my Car

Sudden price cut by 12%? This article interests me. Why such a price reduction happened? I thought demand on automobile has been growing in Shnaghai, but in fact not? Car sales became sluggish? or just the car maker launched a new model and try to dispose old model at bargain price? or any other else?

12 Service Shock in Shanghai

Though I don't know about definition about service representative of Shanghai, I don't understand well why the foreginers kept arguing with the bank clerks while people waited in a long line. If it's the way to do in there, let's do it in that way. WilliamW, I know Japanese bank's services are not bad, but at the same time it does cost. In fact, many of Japanese banks are troubled with their high-cost corporate structure, and depositors are suffering from extremely low interest rate - virtually zero.

11 Xiangyang Market - the Shopping Paradise

Thanks for your input. In fact, because I have been engaged in retail industry, I can imagine how it's like. As far as I know, Chinese prefer 熱騰騰 (?), freshly baked, freshly grilled... and I assume large supermarket must be less capable than open market or local food shop.... Have a nice meals!

10 Xiangyang Market - the Shopping Paradise

Xiangyang market looks lively and cozy. I like such a place personally. Meantime, several questions to ask you, many people buy clothing, shoes, household goods more at open markets such as xiangyang? or it's more or less exceptions, and people buy more at department store or hypermarket? How about foods? Do Shanghainese buy daily foods at supermarket, or local food shop or open market? or mixed? Thanks in advance.

9 Struggling for Parking Lot

I was not surprised to see that the parking fee charges 10 RMB per hour but surprised to know that car price of standard type costs a lot. Many new cars priced under 100,000 RMB are available in tokyo. I think automobile for personal use may not fit well with urban city life like Shanghai. Public transportation and taxi will be the best alternative becaue of less cost and less stress. Hope you will get a better deal soon.

5 New Year Fireworks Broadcasting

A happy new year. I wish lots of success and prosperity for all of readers and Jian Shuo Wang. Do you eat special meals during the holidays? Japanese new year meals are very simple using mainly black beans, small fish, fish paste, cod row, etc. Tastes are quite heavy because the meals are originally intended to preserve for longer days. Housewives can avoid cooking during the holiday season.
