Rent an Apartment in Shanghai Hey the URL is my housing ad with the pictures. I'm renting out the MASTERBEDROOM, in my apartment which is 2 minutes literally or even less from the ZHONGSHAN PARK line 2 subway. Line 3/4 are also 5 minutes away. I'm a Chinese American female college student interning here until December 20th. This area is so convenient as it is closeby to everything: 3 malls, restaranuts, cleaners, banks, metros buses, taxis, etc. Well you know if you've checked the map. The apartment is 2 bedroom, one small living room(eating area), kitchen, shared bathroom, indoor balcony. There's washing machine, internet, cable tv etc. The masterbedroom has as vanity table/cabinet, huge Closet, and several drawers. The indoor balcony is in the room as well. Shortterm is most welcome. I'm thinking about 2800 rmb per month since it's a great location and nice, clean, furnished apartment but price is negotiable. Train Ticket Office at Maglev Station Hi, to find the office: follow signs for exit 2 of long yard road station. it's on the left as you walk out save money and time: you can also purchase return tickets, or tickets to and from other cities. (great for keeping stress of travel low!) Thank you so much for talking about this place, I've used it twice and it's saved me from paying online booking fees! |

Campus Tour of Shanghai Jiao Tong University We just visited Minhang campus last week to see the Media and Design school. It was such a huge campus! We are students at Jiao Tong University's international school at Xuhui campus. There is a bus that goes between the two campuses almost every hour, and it costs less then 6RMB one way. You can pick the bus up on Xuhui campus on the right side of the library. It will stop at several locations on Minhang campus. A student told me the buses run until about 9pm. A nice day trip and not too expensive! |

Train Tickets in Shanghai Railway Station Thank you so much for the information about buying advanced tickets at Long Yang Road Station of Metro Line #2. It is much less stressful and inexpensive to buy both departing and returning tickets from this office! I don't think this is a proper way to display the threads, since the user has to scroll down the pape or go the first pape of the topic in order to find what the topic maker's original sayings are. PVG: Book Domestic Flight in China Jian-Shuo, This is just pure conincident that I am also looking for domestic flights from Shanghai to Fuzhou. My flight will arrive in Shanghai on 11/27 at 7:10pm, and I am wondering 1) is it possible for me to catch a flight from Hongquiao at 9:00pm on the same evening? How much time does it take to travel between the two airports? 2) Is it possible to book domestic tickets through you? My American travel agent has trouble with the domestic booking. 3) If I need to stay overnight in Shanghai, which hotel would you recommend given my budget is limited?
