Experiencing Maglev Shanghai why didn't you take the metro to go to peoples square from the end station of the maglev? This should be the fastest and cheapest way, even it might be a problem with the luggage. |

Bring Your Mobile and Internet to Shanghai the GSM 900 Mhz is also the main frequency used in Europe. So for example German mobiles (t-online, vodafone) work very well in shanghai with German contracts (roaming; even expensive). Just take care with subsidized mobiles bought as special package with e.g in combination with a two years contract: sometimes you can't use the mobile with other SIM-cards then (experience with austrian contracts ). |

Going to Europe? in fact it seems not as easy as I thought for Chinese citizen to go to Europe. I'm just making my experience trying to go for vacation with my Chinese girlfirend to my native country Germany ... even I know to read all the instructions of the consulate there are still some obstacles, so aply early enough! Did I get it right: you want to go to Europe this December ? Just as hint - this is not the preferable season as it could be quite could and not very cosy, even the christmas markets in Germany are great at that time! |
