10 Things You Love/Hate About Shanghai Unlike most people here, one of the things I hate about Shanghai is its safety. But that's coming from someone who was mugged on her tenth day in the city, which I gather is rather atypical. Considering that I was carrying a cheap, plain nylon bag, and wearing a (non-branded) t-shirt and pants that I'd bought from here, I'm really rather concerned that visitors should not feel that "low crime is no crime". |
