Shanghainese Girl Marrying Foreigners My nephew married a lovely Shanghai girl who is a real asset to our family. They married for love and friendship and are just so good together. Ten family members from the USA came to the wedding in Shanghai and (of course) there were MANY more Chinese family members at the wedding. We had ten days of sightseeing, eating fantastic food, enjoying the family mix and we loved every minute. Oh yes, the couple are just about the same age. |

PVG: Buses to Hangzhou, Suzhou... I have a flight scheduled on friday 03 feb 2006 to shanghai, my arrival is around 10am at Pu dong airport, is there a bus stop at the airport for nanjing? my final destination is nanjing and as you're saying taking a bus is better than train since its holidays' weeks now.I need to get to nanjing, I hope there's a bus station at the airport.thanks!great great help! janice:) |

Beijing Impression Jian Shuo, I think you mean "modern" and not modem. Modem is what I use to connect to the Internet. (I have a modern modem!) haha Have been reading your blogs for almost a year now. Great stuff and I'm learning a lot about China. Thanks. |

My New Camera - Sony DSC-P8 Hello Jian Shuo, For many days now I have been reading your blog and sharing it with my friends. It's very interesting to read. Congratulations on your new camera!! I have a Nikon 880 and like it very much. Mostly I just put it on "Automatic" and let the camera do the rest! Question: Do people coming from Beijing still have to go into quarantine in Shanghai for two weeks? |
