"Love China" Blooms on MSN Messenger I live in the United States but took six years of Mandarin Chinese in school. I have never been overseas. I don't watch the news and don't pay attention to politics. So when I told someone I was considering getting cable so I can watch the Olympics this year, they acted all surprised, so I asked why, and they said they weren't watching the Olympics because of the China-Tibet thing. That doesn't make any sense to me because I think the Olympics should have nothing to do with politics, just pure athletics and sporting competition. It made me sad to think that so many people are using it as an excuse to further widen the rift created by those other issues. :( |

Shanghai Pudong Airport to Suzhou Hello Jian Shuo Wang, I will be arriving with my family (4 of us including 3 year old and a 3 month old baby) at Pudong at approx. 8:30pm. We then need to get to Suzhou that evening. This seems to be after the last bus as listed by you above. Is there another way? We don't want to have to go to the train station with the kids and are running out of ideas. Would you recommend a taxi? Thank you so much, this is a great site, Melissa. |

Hand-Made Map of Pudong Area Hi Jianshou, My husband and I are moving to Shanghai in one month. We have both been hired to work for Shanghai Lotus on YangGao Zhong Rd. in Pudong. We will be there in two weeks looking at places to live. We'll be moving with our dog and were wondering if you could recommend a nice serviced apartment or villa. Preferably high end that's fully furnished and walking distance to restaurants, etc... So far we've really liked Lanson Place Jinlin Tiandi Residences in Luwan District but weren't sure if it's too far from the office. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Melissa |

Coins are Popular in Shanghai I am in Wuhan. Coins also very popular in this city. I just remembered when i first came to this city in 2001. I was so suprised that coins are so popular. About the coins , strange thing is the bus fee is RMB1.2 .But now, most of the bus fee raise up to RMB2 (this kind of bus have air-condition) In my home town ,Zhangjiajie City(a touristry attraction in hunan province), people don't like coins. people think coins are troublesome. |
