54 Eatery is Really Small Business

Yeah, small busineses are different from big ones. Small ones always offer low price and get srazor-thin profits to survive at first, and I think only in this way they are likely to make the successful transformation to big businesses in the following step. The increased sales volume caused by the low price just counterbalances their loss in low price. So they just want to be well spoken by every one of their customers and make all of them the long-term or permanent customers. haha ,just my two cents.

51 My Favorite Food in the World

Haha, we have this Mipi (米皮) in my hometown too. Mipi is different from Liang(凉皮). So for as the appearance is conerned,Mipi is more white in color than Liangpi. And Mipi feels more soft than Liangpi when you chew it. In fact, they are made of different material. Mipi is made of rice, while Liangpi is of wheat. In my hometown there is also anther food similar to Mipi and Liangpi named Wantuo(碗托), and it's made of buckwheat. haha, I love all of the three kinds of food. Wantuo the best, then Mipi, then Liangpi. Unfortunately I can't enjoy any of them in Shanghai. I only see Liangpi in Shanghai, and it dropped far behind that of my hometown in taste.

31 Yogurt in a Bottle

Such a cute Yogurt bottle even makes me homesick. I miss the sky of Beijing, because it's similar with that of my hometown. I miss the roads in Beijing, because they are as broad as those in Shaanxi. I miss the smell in the air of Beijing, because it's the same with that in my hometown. All of those in Shanghai are totally different, which shows the difference between the south and the north in China. I miss the tasty dishes in the eatery of Beijing Normal University at which I stayed last time, because they are almost of the hometown flavor. I miss all my good friends in Beijing, because they are all my old friends since senior school, even so many happy moments we enjoyed together and unforgettable memories came into my mind.

28 Nanluoguxiang Is Special

I found this place on google map by the hyperlink you offered, and I think I've ever been there. The last time I visited Beijing was two years ago. When I visited Houhai, I took a Hutong travelling by a three-wheel bike there. The rider took me to a lot of Hutongs which are very old Beijing-characterized. There are some specially decorated stores and bars on some of the Hutongs, and some Hutongs are very narrow. The rider also tell me some interesting stories of these Hutongs. I think this Nanluoguxiang is one of them to which I travelled. It's a pity that I've never been to Lijiang and cannot have your feeling. Anyway this is a place worth travelling to.

19 Photos of Wujiang Road

Haha, thanks for sharing a new Wujiang Road and your idea with us. I went there two years ago, and the road was still the old version that time. There were indeed lots of cheap and nice eateries there, while the people are even more. I just remember we needed to queue up early at 1 PM for the 6 PM dinner in front of a eatery with good reputation. Sounds incredible? I haven't been to the renovated road, and I think I will visit it in the near future.

9 Pudong Starbucks is Nice

Hi Wang Jian Shuo,

I NEVER drink coffee at Starbucks, they're expensive and I hate their business practices. I'm currently a British-American living in Bangkok, Thailand. We have Starbucks EVERYWHERE - there are FOUR of them within less than a mile of my house!! And they're packed with Thais (god knows, how they afford the coffee there as the average Thai salary is less than $150 a month!)

I specifically won't purchase anything at Starbucks though because of their business practices. In the US (and here in Thailand) they deliberately target areas where there are independently-owned coffee shops and then do everything they can to try to close them down. In Santa Monica, CA, where I used to live - Starbucks has recently bought out two smaller coffee companies and then closed down all their stores, to stop the competition.

I'll walk a mile in Bangkok heat before I'll buy a latte at Starbucks. They're a socially-irresponsible company as far as I'm concerned! They're also expensive nd they rip-off local coffee growers. Liars, cheats and thieves, IMO.

8 How to Tell if Someone Block You on MSN Messenger

The best and easiest way to check who's blocked you is to open your msn, click on your name at the top, go to personal settings, then privacy. Then right click the contact in the allow list, and if they've blocked you, the delete option will be available. If they didn't block you, the delete option won't be available for them. This is the best way of doing a check on all your contacts to see who's blocked you.

6 Dong Fang Ji Bai from KFC

The food looks good but the name sound a little funny?
anyway, Chinese in China/HK who run the business always seem to be more creative than SG..(Singapore). Hope to see SG's KFC team will cater chinese dishes in western style....perhaps yes or perhaps it will never happened.

Thanks for the info.

1 MSN.COM Offers 2G Storage?

I made a failed attempt to sign-up for the new "@msn.com" email/.NET passport account, only I got as far as Installing the MSN Explorer to being utterly stumped on the whole Dial-Up Connection Portion of the Installation Process; utterly confusing and rather annoying. Then again it's 4:25AM ET and I can't think straight. Perhaps I'll give it one more shot, perhaps I need to read the Options more thoroughly. (hahha).

Thanks for the tips though, Dude!
I was searching for how to and where to even begin for hours on end, but with this handy-dandy site of yours, I was able to get a quick jump start before my eyes went bloodshed. Thanks, again!

Best Regards,

Michelle W.
