Mandarin or Shanghaiese? I am sure cantonese and madarin are not even close...someone pointed out that hokkien, hakka and mandarin belongs to one group of language and that is nowhere near the truth. mandarin is closer to shanghainese than cantonese...for goodness sake, if you dont know enough about chinese dialects, i'm sure you know some geography? |
