Shutdown DefeatMessenger And FightPopups Spam Couldn't stand it any longer with the pop-up ads constantly bothering me when I was surfing. It got to the point that I did a google search to find out what was causing this garbage. Thankfully, I got to your site and followed the directions to turn off the messenger service. Have not had any problems since. I did e-mail the host server to complain. Many, many thanks. Keep up the good work. (p.s. I now see that AOL finally has a section to walk you through the messenger shut off, but you were there weeks ahead of them.) |
