Baseball Game (San Francisco Giant v.s. Arizona Diamondbacks) What did you think of the stadium? No matter how good or bad the game is, I always think a trip to AT&T Park is nice because of the pleasing architecture and beautiful scenery in China Basin. As for the game of baseball, I think one of the most enjoyable parts of the game is precisely because it is slow. Instead of having to be constantly entertained by the players from start to finish, you can sit and relax at the game with friends, chat in between pitches, eat garlic fries and enjoy the environment. very relaxing for me... |

Chinese Car Plate I have also seen some other characters like 军 which stands for ‘military’ and 使, which I think stands for ‘consulate' (领事馆). If you have one of these licenses, I guess you don’t have to worry about getting a ticket ☺ Are there any other interesting characters on licenses that don’t represent a province? |

PVG: Buses to Hangzhou, Suzhou... Little more direction for those of you that want to take the inter-city buses. International arrival level is on the ground floor. After picking up your luggage and gone thru the custom check, take the exit, then go all the way to the right. Take the escalator or elevator to level 2 around there, take the over pass #5 or #6 towards the parking lot. (They are side by side) 1/3 way there you will see elevator that will take you to the parking lot below, one level down (top level of the parking structure) you will see a room next to the gated exit (next to the bathroom), that is where they sell the bus tickets. |

PVG: Buses to Hangzhou, Suzhou... OK, I just got back from my trip in China. The bus ticket from PVD to Hangzhou is still 100RMB. The trip was long, because we were caught in traffic. It took 3:45 to get to Hangzhou and the bus was packed. We had luggage in the isles. |

PVG: Buses to Hangzhou, Suzhou... Jian Shuo. great website. Thanks for the bus schedule at the top. Maybe you should start an "inter-city bus" section with the above info. I believe the buses are parked across from the terminal building at the multi level parking. (2nd floor) Doris Lau, yes you can catch a bus from PVG to Hangzhou at the airport. Hangzhou at 100 RMB per person (may have gone up to 150), with departing time at 10:30 12:00 13:30 15:30 17:30 19:00. I will be taking that bus in a few days. :-) I believe the bus ride about 2 to 3 hours long, depending on the traffic. The bus terminates at the Wonglong athletic center in Hangzhou, you can catch a taxi from there to any hotel. |

Really Living in Shanghai I think Americans get a bad rap to a certain extent. I am from Canada. At least the decent ones. Here is a wildly successful country with yes a very big diversity of peoples, and perspectives. All sterotypes have roots, but its important that people always look past them. However, I will testify that certainly the media (news) which comes out of the US is wildly slanted in favour of rich neoconservative and conservative business and thinking. Its rather unhealthy. If I were american I would try to change that about my country. |
