Register with PSB During Olympics? The regime is very, very, very nervous and everyone is a potential trouble-maker, whether you have black, red, brown or grey hair. Sign of emerging giant harmonious society? Early this morning, a martial artist stabbed 10 policemen and killed 5 of them in downtown Shanghai. http://news.163.com/08/0701/12/4FP3GK7200011229.html |

All Kinds of Trap - Another One Another trap? To be precise, it is just another defunct business model once pontificated by those so-called "internet heroes" like the blogger himself and cheered by the media. Now everyone hates the invasive wireless tele-marketing and indoor advertisement by Focus Media whose fate has fallen off the cliff just its stock price. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=fmcn Another example, Shanda Interactive Entertainment whose dubious business model baed on youth addictive gambling has earned more controversy than admiration. Again, it has fallen down hard from sacred altar. BTW, the former CEO of Shanda Entertainment was the former boss of the blogger. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=snda See the similarity between those guys running the internet ventures and this blogger? They are creating things fundamentally worthless and time-wasting. They only try to catch people eyeballs. They are better marketers than snake-oil peddlers because they look so sincere and sound so smart. They help perpetrators trick investors into dumping real money into the bottomless hole. They earn perpetrators the bragging rights that make you look dumb and timid. ........ |

Earthquake and Flee from 18th Floor No one should gloat over the loss of innocent lives or the damage to innocent people's properties. I am more concerned about the collapse of the infrastructure (buildings, roads, etc) and the ensuing coverup since everyone konws how those projects are built. (Government officials pocket the big kickbacks while the builders use low-quality materials and below-standard procedures to make up for the profit margin.) Things may unfold faster than anyone can imagine! |

Earthquake and Flee from 18th Floor According to Chinese superstition, earthquake is ominous foretelling something big and bad is up. First the snowstorm trapped millions, then the deadly disease infected hundreds of thousands, now the earthquake is shaking millions. What is next? Anyone dare to visit Beijing during Olympics? |

Avoid Maglev for Hongqiao to Pudong Transition What has just happened to China? From east to west, from norht to south, is there a place in China that has not felt the shock of earthquake on May 12, 2008? According to Chinese superstition, earthquake is ominous telegraphing something big is coming up. Perhaps the blogger should stick to his sixth sense about 2008 as the year of terror. He must have been shaken out of his office already. |

Photos of Shanghai in May, 2008 The blogger's flip-flop continues abated. One day he dumped BBC and another day he kissed its butt; One day he was against anything French and another day he claimed no longer anti-France; One day he lamented 2008 as a year of terror and another day he cheered Shanghai's prosperity; Early signs of manic-depression? Maybe that is really the impression of so-called emerging dragon power on the rest of the world. |

Train Collision in Shandong The investigation of the cause of the tragedy is tragedy in itself. Within a few hours of the accident, the official news (or government mouth piece) suggested old and dilapidated rail line; Then, the government cites speeding as the reason; Then the government blames the local railway officials for not sending slow-down notices in a timely manner; Then the premier requests a thorough investigation. Things are really fishy there. (Obviously the deceasd train driver is not a rookie and he is the frequent driver on this rail line. But the dead man has no chance to tell his story NOW!) Without independent and outside investigation, we may never know the true cause of the tragedy and the following suggested reason will surely be denied by the government soon. http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/world/archives/2008/05/01/2003410740 The unraveling of this (so-called Holy) Olympic terror which has turned so many innocent lives upside down is such a tragedy to behold. |

Wired Photos... Long Time Ago Another set of Shanghai white-collar bourgeois pictures to fool the Western audience? A few days ago, you guys act like the reincarnation of boxer uprising members in 1899: http://www.6park.com/news/messages/80531.html Now you guys look like gentle, friendly, smiling angels. Chinese youth, what is your true face then? |

Wangjianshuo's Blog on BBC, Again The recent anti-France and boycott of French retailer Carrefour drama shows that the majority of Chinese youth, with high education, low education or no education lacks independent thinking and civilized mindset. Unfortunately, the blogger either seems to belong to that patriotic group or purposefully spreads misleading message. France is the first Western contry to establish formal diplomatic relationship with China more than 40 years ago when China was as isolated as North Korea today. Has Chinese learned to be grateful to a 40-year friend? Now the Western media such as BBC starts to report the anti-France rally. It seems to me that the report is as restrained as can be and tries not to offend angry Chinese including the blogger and his friends. But as far as I know, a few sit-ins were held in front of Jing-Qiao Carrefour and Pu-Tuo Carrefour in Shanghai yesterday. In neighouring He Fei, An Hui Province, hundreds of angry demonstrators burned some Dutch Flags (mistaken for French flags!) in front of a Carrefour store. The so-called harmonious Olympics looks more and more like a joke now and it probably will end up in the dumps just like the plunging Chinese stock market. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7356107.stm |

Wangjianshuo's Blog on BBC, Again Someone should check the brains of BBC for quoting this blogger's message. With thousands of other websites which tries to tell a true story of China either banned or unplugged by the Red regime, the blogger's articles which obviously has won the Chinese censors' taciturn approval smells more like the misleading message from yellow trade union. It is amazing to see this blogger flip flop on the position of anti-France within a few days. Oh, I almost forget his day job is a businessman whose internet quasi-startup has seen little success or influence in China. So I guess the alternative way to grab the eyeballs (or attention) of Western media and naive foreign audience is through this blog? One should take a long and hard look at the ulterior motive behind his changing position so quickly. Is it due to convenience for future engaging Western media such as BBC or no postion in the very beginning? |

Wangjianshuo's Blog on BBC, Again It is a very common practice in China to turn on the left light while turning right (i.e. saying something while doing something totally opposite.) Just like the following news report about Chinese government which denies ordering foreign students to leave before Olympics starts while the governemt-owned prestigious Universities won't help students renew their visas. http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/front/archives/2008/04/19/2003409684 I also want the blogger to comment the above story. Is the Olympics a party for Party-handpicked/selected guests only? |

Real Pictures of China with My Experience Sadly, Chinese mobsters have gone wild even in this discussion thread, which exposes and underscores the Beijing Olympic terror ravaging around the globe. Now, go back to blogger's topic. May I suggest the following real pictures of China in the distant past, recent past and present: Revolutionary Red guards waved Chairman Mao's Red Book, smashed anything of old, elitist, or foreign culture, and stomped on the backs of fellow citizens (1960s) http://news.china.com/zh_cn/history/photos/11025921/20050818/12581994.html So-called patriotic students turned violent and threw stones and bottles at USA Embassy in Beijing (1999) http://news.sina.com.cn/world/review/index.shtml Angry youths shouted slogans and attacked Japanese-owned shops in their anti-Janpanese Red terror (2005) http://garbolino.blogspot.com/2005/04/anti-japanese-demonstration.html Chinese mobsters of high education, low education or no education lynchpinned a poor Chinese girl for holding a different view (2008) http://chronicle.com/news/article/4304/chinese-student-at-duke-u-hit-with-online-attacks-for-alleged-sympathy-for-tibet Millions of presumably capitalism-benefited and globalization-embracing Chinese consumers turned xenophobic and picketed outside French retailer Carrefour (2008) http://news.sohu.com/20080416/n256319124.shtml Is China becoming more civilized? I doubt it. Same misanthropy, same xenophobia and same extremism. |

Real Pictures of China with My Experience The blogger has finally shown his true colors through his recent series of patriotic propaganda articles. Why didn't he mention the recent terror launched by those patriotic mosters against a Chinese female student in Duke University who leans more towards pro-Tibet movement? (The Chinese mobsters have published all her personal info on the web and she received all kinds of threat emails or phone calls. Now she is living under police protection. Even her family in China are living under the threat of terror now.) The following is just one of many youtube videos which tried to portray that poor girl as public enemy one in China: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5U6uTiXUxo Why doesn't he mention the death threat emails sent by those patriotic Chinese to a person who holds a different opinion? http://billtieleman.blogspot.com/2008/04/death-threats-in-canada-show-what.html Why doesn't he mention that it is the routine procedure for Chinese government to "settle accounts after autumn" with its dissidents? First there is most wanted name list and massive arrests. Then there is large scale purge. Then there is mass education or brainwashing. This so-called harmonious Olympics has already turned into an Olympic terror. I expect further "settling accounts" after Olympics. |

Mega-Projects and Raising Power of China There have been three golden eras of prosperity in the 5000-year Chinese history, averaging 119 years in duration. During those 450 years, the Emperors engaged in mega projects one after another. Unfortunately, most of them never enhanced average people's livelihood and welfare but ended up as a big burden on them. Nothing has changed between the current one and the previous three except the titles of actors or actresses of the historical farce: ---emperors vs revolutionary descendant clique ---feudal landlord class vs commie-turned bureaucratic capitalist class ---feudal bureaucrats vs commie party secretaries ---Confucius' ordered society idealism vs "harmonious society" commie-party slogan BTW, the previous three golden eras ended badly with ensuing suffering and destruction lasting hundreds of years, will this one be an exception? |
