And why these foreigners accept ? Fresh "meat" ! The question was "many women in China who are dying to marry foreigners", not "dating old foreigners", which is something completely different and happens everywhere in the world. Anyway, money might of course be the reason, but then, there are so many rich Chinese men which are "simpler to deal with" from a cultural point of view for a Chinese girl than those strange laowais. Call me naive, but I think the main reason is curiosity and that men from a foreign country are supposed to be more of a gentleman and more respectful to a woman (not that this is always true). About Chinese men, I think the reason why they stick to Chinese girls is that, first, there are not so many girls from foreign countries in China, second, most of the girls seem not to be interested in getting a Chinese man (maybe for a cultural matter?) and third, the men simply find Chinese girls more attractive. About the foreigners, well, same reason as above: 1) Not so many girls from foreign countries, 2) Chinese women are way too attractive. My 2 cents, Stan. |
